I value openness and curiosity, and in both work and life, I tend to believe that everything is work-out-able.
It’s incredible how much further I can go as a designer today than just 6 months ago. This site was built entirely by AI (Claude and Figma AI mostly). I use it consistently as an ideation partner but mostly to prototype and implement. Editing images and generating icon variations have also never been easier.
I still like to imagine my potential design paths first before taking my ideas to Figma and AI. But that’s also context-dependent, and working on a project where design systems are plugged in, interaction patterns are known, and no net-new design patterns need to be created, beginning with AI with the ideas in my head is also a valid starting point.
